Michael Halsband

I first met Halsband with Joel Tudor in France. They were setting up a showing in Biarritz at the ‘Bouscarol gallery…’ for ‘The Surf Book’ Project. During five years traveling the world under Joel’s direction, Michael shot portraits of some of the most significant members of the surfing community. Michael lives and works out of his studio in Manhattan. He has been photographing the music and fashion industry for more than twenty years and has shot a wide variety of international superstars.
