Ray Barbee

Ray, originally from San Jose, CA, and a current resident of Long Beach, was a member of the renowned Powell’s Brigade skate team. He has always been known for his smooth innovative skate style. When he was a teen he picked up a guitar and started playing in punk rock bands. He matured into a full fledged musician and has recorded a couple of great albums through Galaxia Records. Thomas Campbell introduced me to Ray in 2004; I was looking for an original score for an experimental short that I was working on at the time. (Bicycle trip)
